The present article examines the relationship between the two fields of ethics and jurisprudence in the verses of divorce, which was done by examining the verses and interpretive sources and family law books. In discussing the types of relationship between jurisprudence and ethics, this research has achieved a significant effect of ethics in jurisprudential issues and in particular in the issues of the family system and the social problem of divorce. With this structure, by examining the relevant verses, the common moral principles of wives, and the moral principles specific to men were inferred from the verses in question. These principles show the key point that because men are given the right to divorce in Islam, their moral duties in maintaining the family unit are heavier than those of women, yet women also have a heavy responsibility to maintain and prevent the collapse of the family system. In all the principles discussed as the most important research findings, the relationship between ethics and jurisprudence and the effect that ethics has on the scope of jurisprudence is quite evident and tangible, which is the most important way to stability and moral strength of individuals and families. Even if the family is engaged in divorce.

God Almighty has set the Holy Quran as the guiding light for human beings so that they can find the way to bliss and salvation through it. Therefore, it is essential to contemplate more and more and discover the profound depths of the verses in this holy book. One of the topics discussed in this holy book is the topic of the divine traditions. Marriage is one of the traditions discussed in the Quran, and it is so important that God considers it His sign on the earth. This point has been made in the 21st verse of the surah Roum, and since marriage is a way through which one can reach happiness, a precise and detailed examination of it seems necessary. In the field of interpretation of the Quran, a lot of works including books of commentary, papers, and dissertations have been carried out. However, the focus of this research is on a methodical and comparative examination of the above-mentioned verse, with regard to the ideas and views of the Shia and Sunni commentators. There has never been a work as inclusive as this one. The present paper uses a narrative-analytic method. As marriage is a common rule among all of the creatures, especially humans, we have generalized this tradition to all of the people of societies. That is to say, we have considered marriage in thought, soul, and body so as to make comfort, friendliness, and mercy.
